
Mohammad Masud Alam, an official of the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA), has been transferred from Chattogram to Dhaka. At the same time, several other senior officials of the agency have also been reassigned.
The transfers and postings were announced in an office order issued by the BRTA chairman’s office on August 31. The order said the decision, taken in the public interest, would take immediate effect.
According to the office order, Mohammad Masud Alam, director (Engineering) of the BRTA Chattogram Divisional Office, has been transferred to the post of director (Engineering) at the Dhaka Divisional Office.
Meanwhile, Shafiquzzaman Bhuiyan, director (Engineering) of the BRTA Dhaka Divisional Office, has been transferred to the same position at the Chattogram Divisional Office. He will therefore succeed Masud Alam in Chattogram.
