Building a hospital of Dhaka’s standard in an upazila is no easy task. It requires foresight, humanitarian spirit and unyielding determination. In Shreepur of Gazipur, the founder and director of Al-Hera Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Abul Hossain, has turned that dream into reality. Starting from 1998 until today, in this long journey he has become not just a physician but the centre of trust and reliance for lakhs of people in the area.

Dr. Muhammad Abul Hossain is an exceptionally refined and humane person. The fine sensitivity that exists within him is evident in every corner of his institution.
