Distinguished Brahmanbaria Son Anjan Mallick Honoured on Bangladesh Diary’s Fifth Anniversary

In recognition of his contributions to saving human lives and standing by people in times of distress, Anjan Mallick, a distinguished son of Brahmanbaria, has been awarded a special honour at a programme organised on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the daily Bangladesh Samachar and the English newspaper Bangladesh Diary. The honour was presented on Tuesday in a simple ceremony at the institution’s office in the capital.
After the programme, Sanjib Bhattacharjee, Brahmanbaria Bureau Chief, on behalf of Dr. Khan Asaduzzaman, Editor and Publisher of Bangladesh Samachar and Bangladesh Diary, handed over the commemorative crest to Anjan Mallick. Other officials and staff of the institution were present on the occasion.
In his professional life, Anjan Mallick serves as a Director of Everest Pharmaceuticals PLC, Everest Specialized Pharmaceuticals Limited, Everest Agrogenics Limited, Everest Agri and Fruticulture Limited, Nexen Equity Management Limited and Nexen Holdings Limited, and as Chairman of Everest Agrogenics Limited and Nexen Equity Management Limited.
Born in the soil of Brahmanbaria, Anjan Mallick was a young football player in his childhood. Alongside sports, he always kept himself engaged in social activities. At present, he is an active member of Lions Clubs International and is associated with various social service initiatives.
At this honour ceremony organised on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Bangladesh Diary, recognition was given by the newspaper to individuals who have made contributions in various fields of society. Anjan Mallick was selected for this honour for his humanitarian work and contributions to saving lives.
