State Minister Ahmed Sohel Manzur Inaugurates Several Development Projects in Pirojpur

State Minister for Housing and Public Works Ahmed Sohel Manzur, MP, inaugurated several development projects in Bhandaria upazila of Pirojpur on Tuesday afternoon.

The projects include the vertical extension of the 67 No. Nij Bhandaria Model Government Primary School and the vertical extension of the 76 No. South Bhandaria Government Primary School.

The state minister also inaugurated the construction of RCC roads in Ward No. 8 of Bhandaria Municipality. The roads include the stretch from Jakir Peshkar’s office to the residence of Belayet Hawlader and another from Peshkar Mosque to the residence of Yunus.

In the same ward, he inaugurated another RCC road construction project from the BCCTF CC Road adjacent to Boro Kanua Ali’s shop to the Hawlader-BepAri residential area.

Bhandaria Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Municipal Administrator Md. Hasibul Hasan, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Ujjal Halder, Bhandaria Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Ratneswar Kumar Mondal, Upazila BNP General Secretary Md. Monir Hossain Akin, Municipal BNP Convener Abdul Mannan Hawlader, Member Secretary Masud Rana Palash, former Sadar Union Parishad Chairman Golam Sarwar Jomaddar, Upazila BNP Joint General Secretary Delwar Hossain Biplob, Municipal BNP Joint Convener Wasim Mannan, Utpal Hawlader, BNP Organising Secretary Abul Kalam Azad and Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Shamim Hawlader, among others, were present at the events.

Officials of the local administration, elected representatives, political leaders and prominent local residents also attended the inauguration programmes.
