Today (Monday), the Prime Minister, Tarique Rahman, will inaugurate the excavation of 53 canals across the country from Kaharol in Dinajpur.

Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Saleh Shibli said on Sunday that the Prime Minister will travel from Dhaka to Saidpur by air in the morning. From there, he will proceed to Dinajpur by road.

Farmers’ Card to Be Launched on Pohela Boishakh

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Farmers’ Card distribution program on Pohela Boishakh (April 14).

Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman said the decision was taken at a meeting on the Farmers’ Card program held on Sunday.

The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Secretariat, was attended by Agriculture Minister Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid, State Minister Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, and State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Mir Shahe Alam, among others.
