In order to eliminate harassment of customers coming to the BRTA office, Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) Mirpur BRTA Dhaka Metro Circle-1 office was run by BRTA Executive Magistrate Md. Anisuzzaman to make it broker-free.

The arrested persons confessed their guilt to the court and 02 (two) persons were sentenced to 30 (thirty) days of simple imprisonment and 01 (one) person was fined 10000/- by the mobile court of BRTA. During the operation, the other members of the fraud gang quickly escaped.

The arrested are: 1. Name: Md. Nayan Mia (50), father: Nazimuddin, Khilkhet, Dhaka

2. Md. Iqbal Hossain, father: Siddiqur Rahman, 109/10, Road-10, Mirpur-6, Pallabi, Dhaka.

In this regard, BRT Executive Magistrate Md. Anisuzzaman said, "There are allegations against a fraudster gang who take documents and money from customers coming to the BRTA office in the name of getting work done quickly. Therefore, the operation against brokers and fraudsters is ongoing and will continue in the future. BRTA Ansar Commander Md. Al Amin and many others have tirelessly performed their duties in conducting the operation."
