RAB-7, Chittagong, based on secret information, came to know that some drug dealers, disguised as passengers, had left for Dhaka with narcotics and ganja in a 'Star Line' transport from Chhagalnaiya Police Station Zero in Feni District. Based on the information, on June 22, 2026, at approximately 11:55 PM, an expeditionary team of RAB-7, Chittagong operated a temporary check post on the paved road in front of BSCIC Road on Feni-Comilla Road under Sadar Police Station of Feni District and waited for the bus. When the bus reached the said place during the check post, the expeditionary team of RAB-7, Chittagong searched the bus and arrested the accused 1. Md. Nurul Alam Janu (45) father-deceased Yasin, Sang-Madhyam Mutua (Phulan Para), Police Station-Chhagalnaiya, District-Feni, 1. Md. Khokon Howlader  (55), father-Md. A. Hakim Howlader, Sang-Uttar Fulhata, Thana-Moralganj, District-Bagerhat were arrested. Later, 19 kg of narcotics, ganja, wrapped in plastic tape inside a well-guarded travel bag and trolley bag, were recovered from the accused and seized, with an estimated value of 1 lakh 90 thousand taka.
