Ticket prices for Sunday's FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and Spain at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey have reached record-breaking levels. According to TickPick, the average ticket price has climbed to US$11,327 (around Tk 1.4 million), making it the most expensive average ticket for any championship game in U.S. sports history. The cheapest tickets are selling for about Tk 945,000, while the most expensive seats are priced at nearly Tk 3.5 million.
With the 83,000-seat MetLife Stadium expected to be full, ticket sales alone could generate an estimated Tk 115.85 billionin revenue. Under FIFA's resale system, soaring demand has driven prices sharply higher, with the highest-priced tickets rising from an initial US$10,990 to nearly US$28,479 ahead of the final.
