The "Jute Seed Producer Farmer Training - 2025" was held in Sonatala, Bogura, under the main theme of "Throw away polythene, take a jute bag."

The training was organized yesterday, Thursday (November 27), by the project for 'Production and Expansion of Jute and Jute Seeds based on Advanced Technology' at the Parishad Hall. Marginal farmers from the upazila participated in this training.

The Chief Guest at the event was Sohel Md. Shamsuddin Firoz, Deputy Director of the Bogura Agriculture Extension Department. Speeches were also delivered by Krishibid Sohrab Hossain, Upazila Agriculture Officer.

The Chief Guest emphasized the importance of jute cultivation and urged the farmers of the region to pay attention to ensuring that jute seeds do not have to be imported from neighboring countries.
