The results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are being published today, Monday (August 10). After the results are released at 10am, students will be able to check their results via SMS and through the education boards’ websites.

The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee said students would be able to access their results through the designated websites after publication. Results can also be collected from educational institutions.

Results Published Nearly Three Weeks Late

The SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21 this year. Written examinations under the general education boards ended on May 20, while the written examinations for Dakhil and SSC Vocational candidates ended on May 24.

Under the usual schedule, results are expected to be published within 60 days of the completion of the written examinations. This year, however, the results are being published nearly three weeks later than the usual deadline.

More Than 1.85 Million Candidates

More than 1.857 million students filled out forms to sit for the SSC and equivalent examinations this year. Of them, 1,418,398 candidates appeared for the SSC examination under the nine general education boards.

Among candidates under the general education boards, 930,305 were boys and 927,039 were girls.

Students can also collect their results from their respective educational institutions. Individual results are not available for collection from education boards, the Ministry of Education or newspaper offices.
