Recently, I came to know of a report titled “Anwar Hossain Sikder’s Reign Over the Project”, published in several national daily newspapers, online newspapers, news portals, and social media platforms.

The allegations made against me in the report are not consistent with the facts, the technical realities of the project, or the relevant administrative procedures. The report is one-sided, based on assumptions, and contains misleading information that is liable to tarnish my long-standing professional reputation.

I, Md. Anwar Hossain Sikder, have been serving in this department for a considerable period of time and have consistently carried out all responsibilities entrusted to me with utmost sincerity and professionalism, earning a good reputation in the process.

I do not understand who, motivated by personal jealousy toward me, provided journalists with false or misleading information and for what purpose such a report was published against me.

Neither I nor my organization has any involvement whatsoever with this false and fabricated report. The report is baseless, untrue, and full of malicious propaganda.

I strongly condemn and protest against the publication of this false report.
