objective is to enhance the professional standards and skills of its members.
Member Secretary Mujib Ullah
Tushar said the forum would organize various training programs to improve
journalists' professional competence and serve as a platform for strengthening
communication and collaboration with journalists across Chattogram and the rest
of the country.
Leaders of the newly formed
committee emphasized that BSF would not be merely a symbolic organization.
Instead, it will regularly organize workshops, training sessions, and
discussion meetings to promote professional excellence, enhance journalistic
skills, and provide proper guidance to the next generation of journalists.
They also stated that the forum aims
to support its members during both personal and professional challenges while
playing a constructive role in highlighting the issues, prospects, and
development of the greater Bayezid Bostami area through the media.
The forum further pledged to work
toward strengthening professional security and networking opportunities for
journalists. Participants also urged the Bangladesh Press Council to play a
more effective role in ensuring proper recognition and protection of
professional journalists.
During the first meeting of the newly formed committee, members also decided to expand the organization's membership in the coming days.
