Iran has launched drone and missile attacks on U.S. military bases in Jordan and Kuwait in retaliation for recent American airstrikes. Tehran said the attacks, carried out under operations "Saekeh"and "Nasr 2," targeted the Azraq Air Base in Jordan and the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. Iranian officials claimed the strikes damaged U.S. communication systems, radar installations, and other military facilities.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said it conducted precision airstrikes on Iranian military targets, including command centers, air defense systems, missile sites, and drone facilities in Bandar Abbas, Greater Tunb Island, and other locations to weaken Iran's military capabilities around the Strait of Hormuz. Reports also emerged of a powerful explosion in Iran's city of Khorramabad, further escalating tensions across the Middle East.
