The future of Bangladesh will be based on the opinions of the people, said Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, Youth and Sports Advisor to the interim government. He said, the people of Bangladesh do not want much. People want to express their opinions freely. They want to live in peace and happiness with their basic rights.
Asif Mahmud said these words at a discussion meeting organized at the open stage of the Comilla Town Hall grounds on Tuesday afternoon. Stating that neighboring country India should talk to the people of Bangladesh, he further said, 'As an independent sovereign state, the people of this country should talk to India eye to eye. We should talk with our heads held high. The people of Bangladesh should talk with respect. India has been talking to one party for so long; but that will not happen anymore. India should now talk to the people of this country. They should move away from the practice of leaving Bangladesh behind that they have been doing for so long.'
