Popular content creator and actress Karina Kayser has passed away due to liver complications (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un). She died early Friday morning while undergoing treatment in Chennai, India, after being taken there for advanced medical care. The news was confirmed by her father, former national footballer Kaiser Hamid.

Speaking to the media, he said Karina’s physical condition deteriorated rapidly during treatment. While antibiotics were being administered to treat complications in her lungs, her blood pressure suddenly dropped to a critical level. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, they were ultimately unable to save her.

According to family sources, Karina first fell ill with a fever several days ago. Medical tests later detected infections along with Hepatitis A and E. As complications increased, she suffered liver failure. She was initially admitted to the ICU of a private hospital in the capital and was later placed on life support after her condition worsened. Last Monday night, she was flown to Chennai, India, by air ambulance for advanced treatment. She had been receiving treatment at the Christian Medical College Hospital in Vellore.

Under the supervision of doctors, treatment for her lungs began first, while preparations for a liver transplant were also reportedly underway, according to family members.

Karina gained popularity among young audiences through her lively social media presence and relatable content. Later, she became involved in acting and screenwriting as well. The young actress and creator had gradually established herself in the OTT and drama industry.

Among her notable works are Internship and 36-24-36. In addition to acting, she also worked as a screenwriter.

Following the news of her death, fellow artists, directors, and fans expressed their grief on social media. Her untimely passing at such a young age has cast a shadow of mourning across the entertainment industry.
