The results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will not be published on July 20 as previously expected. Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, confirmed that the results could not be released on the scheduled date. However, he said all preparations have been completed and the results will be announced within July.
This year's SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21 and concluded on May 20, while the practical examinations have already been completed. More than 1.857 million students from the country's nine general education board, as well as the Madrasah and Technical Education Boards, took part in the examinations.
