The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Chattogram District, Mohammad Nazir Ahmed Khan, inspected the temporary police camps established in the Jangal Salimpur and Alipur areas of Chattogram. During the visit, he discussed the law and order situation with the police personnel on duty and exchanged views with local residents.

During the inspection of Jangal Salimpur and Alipur yesterday, the SP visited the police camps set up in the area. He held detailed discussions with the responsible police members regarding the overall law and order situation, security measures, and ongoing policing activities in the area. He also provided necessary instructions to ensure that duties are carried out with professionalism and dedication.

As part of the visit, he also held a meeting with local residents to learn about their problems, concerns, and the general law and order situation in the area. Local residents appreciated the ongoing activities of the police and expressed satisfaction with the improvement in security arrangements.

Superintendent of Police Mohammad Nazir Ahmed Khan said that no terrorist activities or criminal operations will be tolerated in the Jangal Salimpur area. He emphasized that Chattogram District Police is working with the highest priority to maintain normal law and order and ensure the safety of the general public, and these efforts will continue in the future.

He further said that the police will extend full cooperation to all lawful activities of the residents in Jangal Salimpur and Alipur areas. In addition, necessary support will be provided for the implementation of government development projects in the area, and Bangladesh Police will always stand beside the people to ensure their safety.

He also warned that people should not be misled by propaganda or misleading statements spread by any group or conspirators. He urged everyone to remain vigilant in this regard.

The SP further stated that regular patrols, intelligence activities, and special operations are being conducted to maintain peace and order, suppress crime, and ensure public safety in the area. At the same time, the police are working to build a safe and stable environment by strengthening coordination with local residents.

He urged residents to promptly inform the police about any criminal activity or suspicious behavior.

On the other hand, local residents welcomed the SP’s visit and said that the establishment of police camps and regular police patrols have significantly improved the law and order situation in the area compared to the past. They also expressed hope that such initiatives would continue in the future and assured their full cooperation with the police in maintaining law and order.
