The examination centre at Al-Gazzali Islamia Kamil Madrasa in Vandaria Upazila of Pirojpur has been suspended due to concerns over the lack of a suitable, cheating-free examination environment for the Fazil (Pass) First, Second and Third Year Examinations-2025, conducted under the Islamic Arabic University. All remaining examinations at the centre will now be held at Vandaria Shahabuddin Kamil Madrasa.

The decision was announced in a notice signed by Islamic Arabic University Controller of Examinations Dr. Md. Waliur Rahman on Monday (November 2, 2026).

According to the notice, the examination centre at Al-Gazzali Islamia Kamil Madrasa (Centre Code: 568) has been suspended in the interest of conducting the Fazil (Pass) First, Second and Third Year Examinations-2025 in a fair and cheating-free environment. All examinations scheduled from November 5 onwards will be held at Vandaria Shahabuddin Kamil Madrasa (Centre Code: 567). The authorities have been instructed to inform all concerned examinees of the decision promptly.

The notice also directed Al-Gazzali Islamia Kamil Madrasa and Telikhali Islamia Fazil Madrasa to hand over all necessary examination-related documents to the officer-in-charge of the new centre, Vandaria Shahabuddin Fazil Madrasa, by November 3. These include attendance sheets, top sheets, unused answer scripts, examination records and income and expenditure statements.

The notice stated that the decision was taken in response to a memorandum from the Upazila Nirbahi Officer and the Upazila Land Office in Vandaria, Pirojpur, and with the approval of the university's Vice-Chancellor.

Vandaria Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Hasibul Hasan said the decision to relocate the centre was taken to ensure a completely cheating-free, transparent and suitable examination environment for the candidates concerned. He added that the upazila administration would provide the necessary assistance and take appropriate measures to ensure that students could continue their studies and sit for their examinations smoothly.
