Dhaka College Career
Club, in collaboration with Hangul Korean Language and Visa Firm, organized a
grand seminar titled “Study in South Korea 2026: Unlock Your Future.” The main
objective of the event was to raise awareness among students about
international higher education and highlight opportunities for education and
career development in South Korea.
Held at the Dhaka
College Auditorium, the seminar was attended by more than 300 students. The
event featured detailed discussions on prestigious scholarship opportunities in
South Korea, Korean language learning programs, and prospects for global
employment.
International and
local experts presented various aspects of South Korea’s visa policies,
university structure, and higher education system.
In his speech, Kai Shim,
CEO of Hangul Korean Language and Visa, described South Korea as a competitive
and promising destination for higher education. He provided important guidance
on language education, scholarships, and future career opportunities for
students.
Additionally, Wonbae
Bang, Associate Dean of Global Engineering and Technology at Korea University
of Technology and Education, discussed engineering education, technological
advancement, and modern technical curricula available for Bangladeshi students.
During the event,
Professor A.K.M. Ilias, Principal of Dhaka College, encouraged students to
learn third languages such as Korean, Japanese, and Chinese alongside English.
He stated that students could unlock new opportunities by taking advantage of
higher education and career prospects in East Asian countries.
Professor Abul Kashem
Muhammad Jahurul Haque, advisor to the club, emphasized that international
higher education can play an important role in contributing to research and
scientific excellence and in establishing Bangladesh as a strong research hub
in the future.
Khandakar Raihan,
President of Dhaka College Career Club, shared the club’s future plans and
international education initiatives and encouraged students to develop their
academic capabilities on a global scale.
According to the
organizers, this seminar has opened a new horizon for Bangladeshi students
seeking higher education in South Korea and aiming to build international
careers.
